Property Redevelopment

One of the most important goals of BEI's consulting and engineering services is to prepare environmentally impaired property for redevelopment.

Property owners often convert industrial properties into public parks or residential structures. Brownfields are converted to a variety of new uses including shopping centers, schools and even homeless shelters.

To prepare an environmentally impaired property for redevelopment, the extent of the environmental impacts must be fully assessed, remedial action, if required, must be performed and a complete risk assessment must demonstrate that the remaining impacts do not pose an unacceptable threat to human health or the environment.

During the redevelopment process, BEI works with developers and architects.
